This tailored garment sees ‘moon’ brocade motifs in silver on a deep indigo ground, suggestive of the glimmering moonlight in the night sky. It is embellished with a customized silver button.

Maku’s designs are contextual to community, practices and individual skill sets. The fabric is handwoven in the villages of Bengal (India) by traditional brocade weavers. It is a contemporary adaptation of the age-old craft of jamdani weaving.

This product is handwoven and natural dyed. Any irregularities only add to the beauty of the textile.
